Did you know that you can get the best local food with SNAP at MCFM?
1. Visit the Information Table:
Tell the staff person at the table that you want to use your SNAP/EBT card.
2. Purchase Market Tokens:
Staff will swipe your card for any amount you choose.
3. We Match:
Staff will give you your requested token amount plus the matching tokens, up to $50 per customer per market date.
4. You Shop the Market!
Spend your tokens with any vendor that sells SNAP-eligible items!

LEFTOVER TOKENS? Tokens have no expiration date. Keep leftover tokens and use them the next time you shop at the market. SNAP tokens must match the market where you shop.

COVID SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
In light of Governor Cooper's Executive Order 209, our safety precautions were updated. There is no longer an entry control system, but customers are free to move in and out of the market only AFTER the bell is rung at 8am. Although masks are no longer mandatory, we welcome you to wear one if you feel safer doing so. We may be an outdoor setting, but adequate social distancing is near impossible in some areas of the market. Therefore, we strongly recommend those customers who are unvaccinated or a member of a high risk population to wear a mask. Please practice healthy and safe shopping and show grace to others.
