Donate And Invest In Your Farmers' Market
MCFM has always been a special place because of the people who support it. Over the years we've managed to make a huge impact on a small budget. We are thankful for our loyal market customers who have continued to support us during the rough times as well as the good. Although we strive to be self-sustaining, our vendor fees and fruit fundraisers don't always cover our costs. Therefore, we seek ongoing individual donations and business sponsorships to help us increase our impact on the local community in several positive ways, including:
Mentoring the next generation of the agricultural community.
Expanding our educational programs relating to sustainability, healthy living, nutrition and the farm-to-table movement through cooking demonstrations and lecture series.
Facilitating clean foods to vulnerable members of our community through our SNAP/EBT program.
Matthews Community Farmers' Market Group is a tax-exempt non-profit organization under s501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations may be eligible for a charitable tax deduction.
