MCFM has always been a special place because of the people who support it. We are thankful for our loyal market customers and businesses who have continued to support us during the rough times as well as the good. Our 501(c)3 non-profit status has opened up further avenues of funding. Individual donations and business sponsorships help us to increase our impact on the local community in several positive ways, including:

Mentoring the next generation of the agricultural community.

Expanding our educational programs relating to food and environmental sustainability, healthy living, nutrition and the farm-to-table movement through cooking demonstrations and lecture series.

Facilitating local foods to vulnerable members of our community through our SNAP/EBT program.
Matthews Community Farmers' Market Group is a tax-exempt non-profit organization under s501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations may be eligible for a charitable tax deduction.
Its mission is to provide the community educational opportunities focused on local agriculture and local food, and charitable activities that increase access to local food and agriculture.
